Personal Doctor
Having a private doctor for one's loved ones - this is no longer a luxury of Vietnamese families.
Personal Doctor
Having a personal doctor who understands you and takes care of your health on an ongoing basis is priceless!
- Personalized Care: Your personal doctor understands your body and can diagnose you more accurately and quickly. They can also develop a treatment plan that is tailored to you as an individual, rather than a generic approach.
- Preventive Care: Because they understand your health history, lifestyle, and goals, your personal doctor can help detect potential health problems early on, provide preventive care, and offer encouragement and support.
- Continuous Care: No matter what day or time it is, your personal doctor is available to respond to your questions within 24 hours, even if you are traveling abroad.
- Comprehensive Care: Your personal doctor is part of a network of healthcare professionals, so you will have access to trusted specialists when you need them. Your personal doctor can easily consult with other specialists who understand your medical history to provide the best possible care.
- Greater Comfort: Many people dread doctor's visits due to "white coat syndrome," where their blood pressure rises when they think about doctors and clinics. Having a personal doctor can make healthcare more comfortable and convenient. You can talk to your doctor from the comfort of your own home, which can lead to a stronger doctor-patient relationship, greater satisfaction, and better health.
- Greater Autonomy: Your health is your own decision, and your personal doctor understands and respects that. You and your doctor will work together to make decisions that are right for you, without being bound by the rules and regulations of a hospital or clinic, or any other third party.
- Cost Savings: You can save time and money by not having to travel to multiple appointments and by avoiding unnecessary tests and procedures that may be ordered by doctors who are unfamiliar with your medical history.
- Convenience: In addition to phone consultations for specific medical issues, you can also text your doctor and receive a response within 24 hours for any questions you may have.

Who Needs a Personal Doctor?
Personal Doctor for Your Child
As a parent, you want nothing more than for your child to be healthy, happy, and well-developed. That's why having a trusted pediatrician is essential, whether it's for newborn care, common illnesses like colds, fevers, coughs, and diarrhea, chronic conditions like allergies, asthma, obesity, or even mental health concerns like anxiety, hyperactivity, autism, school stress, or bullying.
A personal pediatrician is a specialist in general pediatrics, trained to diagnose and treat a wide range of childhood illnesses and provide both primary care and inpatient care. They have the expertise to approach your child's health holistically, with a child-centered focus. General pediatricians also have specialized knowledge in primary and secondary disease prevention, preventive care through immunizations, health education, or injury prevention counseling, and slowing or preventing disease progression through screening and risk factor assessment.
Effective Communication for Peace of Mind
- Responsive Year-Round Care: Enjoy prompt phone or text message responses (for knowledge questions or follow-up concerns) from your child's dedicated doctor, providing peace of mind throughout the year.
Building a Long-Term Relationship
- Continuous Care from Birth to 18: Establish a long-lasting and trusted relationship with your family and child by choosing the same pediatrician from birth to 18 years old. This makes checkups more comfortable and effective.
Trustworthy and Dedicated Care
- Personalized Holistic Approach: Your personal pediatrician understands their role in your child's year-round health. From the first visit, they thoroughly assess your child's unique needs and medical history. In subsequent visits, they prioritize comprehensive health and sustainable treatment for any concerns.
Patient and Understanding Care
- Dedicated Explanations: Your personal pediatrician understands that each consultation is not a one-time event. They take the time to explain things thoroughly and patiently so that parents can understand and follow their recommendations, fostering a long-lasting and effective relationship.
Child-Centered Approach
- Your Child's Well-being First: Your child is your personal pediatrician's top priority. As part of their patient list, they will go the extra mile to alleviate parental concerns and ensure your child's health and well-being.
Personal Doctor for Adults
Maintaining good health is an ongoing process that requires regular attention and care. For most individuals, this means visiting a healthcare provider at least a few times a year for checkups, screenings, and addressing any health concerns that may arise. However, for those with chronic conditions, the need for regular and comprehensive care becomes even more essential.
Regular Healthcare for Optimal Well-being
Just like our bodies change over time, our healthcare needs evolve as well. Regular checkups and preventive care are essential for maintaining good health, especially as we age. And if you have a chronic condition, having a personal doctor becomes even more crucial.
Personalized Care for Comprehensive Health
You can choose either a General Internist or a Family Medicine physician as your personal doctor. These are generalist doctors who provide comprehensive care for adults, treating common conditions like respiratory infections, headaches, back pain, and urinary tract infections. They can also manage chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, they have expertise in managing multiple treatments, medications, and their interactions. They can discuss both physical and mental health.
Personalized Care and Better Health Outcomes
Numerous studies show that patients with a dedicated personal doctor are more likely to adhere to treatment plans and experience better overall health. This is because personal doctors prioritize patient-centered care, tailoring diagnosis and treatment to your unique needs and preferences.
Navigating Online Health Information
In today's digital age, accessing health information online is easier than ever. However, it's crucial to have a knowledgeable general practitioner to help you understand, evaluate, and make informed decisions about new treatment options or alternative therapies you may encounter. Your doctor can verify the credibility of online information by comparing it with established and trusted medical sources.
Choosing the Right Doctor for You
When selecting a personal doctor, consider your current health status and needs. Those with chronic conditions or complex health concerns will benefit greatly from a doctor who can manage all aspects of their healthcare journey. Even if you're currently healthy, having a personal doctor who understands your medical history, family health factors, and overall physical condition is invaluable. They can provide proactive health maintenance advice, preventive care guidance, and readily available support whenever you need it.
